I can totally relate! And how can you pass up such great plants!??
I'm starting to wonder if I'm bordering on addiction.....find myself perusing online nurseries ALOT......But as I told my husband, there are a lot worse things I could be addicted to (diamonds, furs, designer clothes, drugs.......)

A confessional thread good for the soul. Thats what I been telling my husband for years. I don't gamble, drink, do drugs, no jewelry or expensive clothes and we eat at home. But I wonder....

I am a plantaholic and proud of it! I cannot resist end of season sales. Some I can plant right away, some go into my holding beds until a) I can find space, b) go to my garden club's plant sale c) expire in their containers. On my last foray of the season I got 2 tree peonies and the Itoh peony Bartzella for $20 each or 67% off full prcie. Luckily, I had space so they got planted right away. We will see what spring brings.

To the saying "You can never be too rich or too thin" should be added ' or have too many plants'.

My problem is seeds...I just keep buying them. (Thankfully, I am getting better at getting them to germinate and grow.) Thankfully, my husband fully supports my addiction. :)

Seeds are much easier to hide than plants though. And cheaper most of the time I think.

I can relate. I went overboard with PLANTS and bulbs this year as I was just converting back yard (grass) to garden beds all around the yard. I read about wintersowing and was so excited, I started ordering my seeds in the summer, only to find other seeds I had to have....and order more!
Do you winter sow or direct sow in the spring?
