Jasmine Polyanthum (Pink Jasmine) Hardy in Zone 7?

So I got pink Jasmine back mid-summer online. As i look up everything before buying, I am certain I would have seen hat it is hardy in zone 7..but now I'm looking and I am only seeing it hardy through zone 8. Does anyone up in the lower zones have these outside all winter? or is there a trick to to safely overwintering them in the ground?

It's already in the ground and it's definitely getting chilly here. Should I be digging ithem up?

If so, would these be the type of plant I could wack down, dig up, and then replant in the spring with some sort of acceptable recovery?

Right now they are not very big at all as I only just took them out of some containers I had them in for the summer so I could make sure they were watered properly and as the location I wanted them in was finished with the messy work being done there..., but do they just get too big to dig out every year? I don't know what their roots get like...

Hoping someone can help me.
