Got my first 2010 catalog!

The Stokes Seeds catalog arrived yesterday. I always look forward to perusing this catalog since I enjoy seed starting (great way to chase away the winter blues!), its fun to plan what annuals to grow and try something new, and this particular catalog not only brings anticipation of a great season to come but brings back memories of when I first got into gardening - annuals were my first "thing" :0)

I was just wondering this afternoon when they'd be coming. I love going over and over them in the winter too.

I received Pinetree's yesterday. I love looking at what books they have available. Most of their seeds I can aquire locally but not the other "stuff"

For the first time, I actually opened & perused in depth the Pinetree catalog. I've heard people say they are great, but I didn't 'get it.' So much information, and a good resource for finding out all the attributes that I want in my vegetable garden. A good read, too. They sure do know how to write! And the prices are very good.
There's a whole lotta pen-circles in there now!

I've never heard of Pinetree - I should look into it.

My first, from my favorite shade gardening specialty nursery, came about a month ago. And it too is already well marked with "must-haves" for my new garden :-) The problem is that many of these plants are also collector plants (and new hostas) so the prices are not cheap! I'm having a hard time whittling down the list to an affordable level.

I received my Pinetree catalog Monday but haven't had time to look at it until last night.
I have 6 varieties I want to order so far. I'm sure there will be more.

Ditto on Pinetree Seeds being my first 2010 catalog as well.
