| Yep, already. Was out there today shoveling a big pile of shredded leaves and here came the snow flurries and the wind. Was on an off for a while, now it's on again, I can see the flakes out the window - they're big and fluffy white and coming straight down, it's definitely SNOW.
It's a little early for this in SE Michigan... But I did get my mulch pile distributed onto the beds, so no big deal, wouldn't let a little snow and wind stop me LOL! |

| I know what you're talking about, mxk3. Almost 2 weeks ago now, we had a snowstorm which dumped a foot of snow in our area northeast PA. Luckily, it warmed up and was gone by the end of the week. I must be tempting fate, cause I STILL haven't gotten around to mulching my beds yet. LOL |

| I'd take precipitation in any form right now. We haven't had a good rain since early July. |

| Good morning. There is about 4" on the ground here right now and it is still snowing. I'm going back to bed. Please wake me in March. |

| I actually like snow for Thanksgiving, nice to have good company, food on the table, fire in the woodstove... |

| The northeast got hit with quite a nasty snowstorm on halloween weekend. Someone really ticked of Mother Nature I think. We got 19" and quite a bit of damage in the garden. Lost power for 4 days but we all did OK. There were so many people w/o power for a week. It was bad because all the leaves were still on the trees and it was a heavy wet snow. Blech! Good news is, the following week it warmed up nicely so all the snow melted which was great for the garden. |
