Best Conditions for Pink Fountain Guara??

I'm wondering if anyone in my zone or close to it has any feedback on this plant? Don't know if it spreads, is invasive, or any other pros & cons you might share.

And is now a good time to transplant? It's very healthy but I need to move mine to a sunnier location and want to make it happy.

This is advice for zone 6, but most of it should apply to you. Don't transplant until spring. Don't cut it back until spring. Gaura is a western plant, accustomed to dry winters. Cutting back in fall allows the cut stems to draw winter moisture into the crown and will kill it. Plant in a very well drained place.
