| BloomingBulb has several varieties of perennials on clearance including hostas, Daylilies and Astilbe. Lots of bulbs, too, but no free shipping for those. Too late for plants for me. |

I'm still holding out for the local Agway to go over 75% off. They just went 30 this week. I'm optimistic this year because the weather hasn't changed yet, so (my logic says) that people wouldn't have planted bulbs in this warm weather. And...people will be too busy next weekend thinking about TG and B-Friday shopping that they won't even consider buying bulbs...course, then they'll look at the calendar after the weekend and say "Oh, it's too late now, anyway" which means they're all mine!!! MUHAHAHHAHHHH!!!!!!!!! |

| I have only ever purchased bulbs from them. I've been happy with their prompt shipping and customer service. |

| If the price is right for the Daylilies and Hostas (perhaps the astilbes too), I would take a chance, even in Zone 4. |

elleni (what a beautiful name), thanks so much for posting this. I would never have known of this co. and this deal. Now, with some 300 bulbs on order, this wk. we're digging the troughs etc. where they will live after they've arrived. So lucky to still have warm weather, relatively speaking. It sure beats the pick-ax bulb planting we did about 5 yrs ago in dec. !! th you again, mindy |

| Ha ha. Last Fall I was out post-Thanksgiving pouring hot water over the areas I wanted to plant the last of my bulbs! (It worked-- every tulip came up in the Spring.) Much easier than a pick-axe! Not that you should keep that in mind and be tempted to extend your planting season even further! Elleni |
