| With 6 inches of snow on the ground and temperatures in the teens, I am dreaming of summertime. I miss the warm sun on my face, walking barefoot in the grass, and flowers blooming. So I decided to share some of my photos from this summer. Please share yours too.

My neighbor's bearded iris is in full bloom right now. Not sure why or how. But, it is nice to see that this time of year. Thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous! Do you know the name of the blue/white iris in the last photo? Would love to add some to my blue/white bed!

Karolina -- I believe the name of the iris is "Rare Treat" but I am not sure. It is a favorite in the iris bed and is a purplish blue. I also have "Stitch Witch". It has the same coloring but is a dwarf iris.

Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing. Are the hen and chicks growing in soil beneath the blue stones?

Very pretty and a good reminder that we will see our gardens again. I've got 2-3 ft. of snow and it's single digits. January, no way to get around it.

Wow, I always wanted some blue iris like those, both of them. Wow! I don't begrudge your dreams of UT summer, but mine are of AL spring!
