The flower just opened after the eruption. The icy items are actually volcanic ash. Are these volcanic ash very fertile and suitable for many crops? Hmm ... |

| That was my thought too, Volcanic ash. There are certain circumstances where it is likely harmful (especially if there is enough ash to smother established forests say), but in general I believe volcanic ash is pretty good for replenishing minerals back into the soil. |
