Amazing deer rescue video

I hope this link works. Story was on WGAR our local country station. Jim Mantel, morning show DJ gave link on his web page. Poor deer was stranded on the ice at Lake Thunderbird in Oklahoma, and couldn't get it's footing to stand up. The helicoper pilot was able to use the rotor wash to blow the deer across the ice safely to land.

Another amazing animal story.

That was amazing!! Blew it right over to the shore and after listening to the chopper pilot he said it rested a bit and then ran off into the woods. Glad to see a happy ending!

I was just reading this to DH, and he said, "Oh, yeah! I heard that on the news!" I was patient while the video streamed, and I'm sure glad I was! WONDERFUL, heart-warming video.

Thanks for sharing, Jenny!
