| Yes, seems like most of the winter was minus 46...it been a lonnggg cold one! I've been hibernating so long I haven't been here in ages. Finally got a pair of snowshoes to get to the bird feeders. BUT I'm surviving. The pussy willows are just starting to peek out, the tulips next to the house are up a few inches, the juncos are back in HUGE numbers and the gold finches are bright gold again. Most of the snow is gone...for the 3rd time....but I don't think we're due for any more really nasty blizzards. Can't see much in the pond yet - dark water - but its been open all winter (thanks to air and a tank heater) and no floating fish :) Happy Spring everybody! S |
