What happened to my pictures?

Hi everyone,
We're on dial-up, which is such a drag. But....in the past few days, all the pictures I try to look at on the computer, are very blocky, in squares, out of focus......sort of in the impressionistic style.
I don't believe we've changed anything, except to add more memory. Any ideas what's going on? Thanks.

Hmmm .... not sure ... do pictures on your hard drive look the same way? What browser are you using? If you right click on a picture and copy it and save it on your hard drive does it look normal?

Hi jeanner,
Actually, we figured it out. We have dial-up, and to help it be a smiggen faster, we have an "accelerator". I guess you can choose if you want it really fast or slower. If you choose fast, it makes the pics blurry. We we backed off that speed, to medium, and now the pics are okay.
Thanks!
