A Bird Came Down

A bird came down the walk:
He did not know I saw;
He bit an angle-worm in halves
And ate the fellow, raw.

And then he drank a dew
From a convenient grass,

I didn't know she could / would do that. Kramer taught her well before he left. His final gift to his family. :*(

I had to smile at the thought that Heaven is MUCH more fun now that Kramer has arrived. I'm sure he ~humbly~ announced his arrival by saying:

"I am sweet sweet Kramer. I am sweet AND a joy!"

Yes my dear Kramer. You are. :-)

That sounds much better than celestial harps and trumpets.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind.
