| Hi everyone!!!
Are y'all wiping the sleep from your eyes as the long winter hibernation is coming to an end? Well, dang it all, there's no difference outside at all. We have about 3' of snow on the ground and the poor pond is still buried so I have no idea if the fishies have survived. However the robins are in the trees screaming, "Where are the worms?" and the dumb morning doves are building their nests (they usually have eggs while there is still snow on the ground), so maybe spring will really show up after all. How is Camp Nappy? Anne |

| Hi Anne, I thought that you Northerners were so use to snow that you just ignored it and went about doing what y'all do. :o) If it is any help to ya, we are starting to get into the 60's and 70's down here in Central Alabama and my water lilies are getting pads, my dwarf cattails are shooting up out of their pot, Frogsbit and Water Hyacinths are coming back, and all the water irises and Sweetflag are filling their pots. Also, the pennywort, lizardtail, parrot feather, and yellow floating heart are all coming out of dormancy. :o) Happy ponding, |
