| Just got back from the dr and he has scheaduled my next surgery for the 26th. I am totally sick of this. It will be #6 in the last year, the last one being semi-emergency. I knew I was gonna have to have it, it just had to be moved up abruptly. Doctor PROMISES me it will be the last one, and no pain. I am not sure if I believe all that. I have been told that before hahahahahaha. Up until now every surgery has been 50/50 chance of being last one/reoccurance. It has returned 100% of the time. Seems to be more often lately though. Have fun and I hope you all are having more luck than I am :(

| I don't get stripey toe socks, I get chucks. :( I have reoccurring anal fistulas. This is the last ditch effort according to the dr, this is my last option. If it don't work I am not sure what happens next... We will see. Karen |

| Karen, I'll be praying real hard that this is your last one, too! I admire your bravery and sense of humor through so many miserable surgeries. Have the drs. found an underlying cause for the recurrences? Wishing you a speedy recovery and NO PAIN! Keep smiling, Linda |

| No cause. No reason. Just happens. The first surgeries I had a 50/50 chance of it staying fixed. For me is 100% fail. This new surgery is better odds 80-85% success rate. We will see if it works. :( Karen |
