| With great sadness we took Laddie for his last trip to see Dr John this morning. There was no more medicine to help and last night it was obvious he was in great discomfort.
We held him as he slipped off into the great unknown to run across the Rainbow Bridge where I'm sure Mickey was waiting for him. Here they both were in 2008 when I moved the pond - they were in good health then and enjoyed "helping" with the move. Anne |

| Anne, *hugs* from me too - a few weeks late, but I bet you wanted a hug today. Laddie is happily sniffing and playing with lots of other pups, no more sickness and pain, just happily waiting for you. |

| Thanks everyone. Yes, Mary, you hit the right day. Got all teary eyed at work today, not just from Laddie and Mickey, but also Mom who died 13 years ago. Strange how grief bubbles up from time to time. All we can do is forgive ourselves for whatever "guilt-trip" we are attacking ourselves with at the moment and take a deep breath and BREATHE IT OUT!!!
