| Aaahhhh, and even later here... but, nonetheless, many happy returns to the both of you! Bad news about your birthday cake. My plan was - well - because the wild blackberries between us and our neighbors are out of control - I might even have to make jam this year - so we try to use blackberries whenever we can. Like, walk the dog, come home, eat a few handfuls of blackberries. Retrieve the empty garbage can, eat a few handfuls of blackberries. Water the hanging plants at the front door, skip down the steps, go eat a few handfuls of blackberries. And we can't keep up. Obviously, therefore, I wanted to get you a blackberry cake. So, for this post, I looked as usual on Google Images for a nice blackberry cake picture, but, alas. They put some sort of copyright protection in and I can't pick up the images anymore. So here's what you have to do to get your birthday cake! Go to Google images, type in "sugar Blackberry Cake", and the first two pictures, that's your cake! Then you could go to the website and get the recipe and even actually MAKE the cake. Which I won't do, because I'm finally losing some weight, and I don't want to spoil it now. (with anything else than fresh blackberries). Enjoy! :) MaryO |
