Seven years and counting

The towers are a poignant symbol of that day, but so is that quiet place in PA, the bustling corridors of the Pentagon, and the flag flying in my front yard. I will never fail to grasp the magnitude of loss since then, nor will I forget every single life that has been, and will be, given. Yet I will be proud and faithful.

RE: Seven years and counting

I was sitting across the river the evening of 9/10 looking at that skyline. There came up a very mean looking storm, so we left out of there that night before the storm to go home and we were crossing the Fla line when we started hearing the news. I had been in those buildings several times. Those elevators were so electrically charged, that if you kissed someone on the elevator sparks would fly. Guess it was the altitude. Glenda

I hope nobody forgets that day. I hope people can take every anniversary to watch at least one footage, to remind themselves the magnitude of our goodness, the horror, and our vulnerability of that day..and to appreciate this great country we live in. We need to be proud and protect it, because there is no other country like the United States Of America on this earth.

God Bless the people that protect us and the patriotic people who live here, that makes our country great.
