Just a few more pics taken this morning. Had a couple firsts today. Seen a large (I think) bullfrog in pond. Also 1st WH bloom. Still working, still loving. Water is slightly green, but gets clearer each day. Enjoy.

It is slower process now. I am still needing alot of rock. I hate the thought of buying them, so have some friends who are taking us rock hunting. We may drive down by Davis and see if the rock slides have let any loose.
I have wanted a pond for years and I am having so much fun.

Just lovely! You are right, ponds are so much fun. Take yoru time to finish the pond. lol Now that you are a ponder and one of us I will tell you a secret. Ponds are never finished or done. They always keep changing.

Warm Regards,

Lisa

You are right about that, Lisa. I have lived here for 20 years since I was 22, and my gardens still aren't done. My backyard is still very plain, but with the pond, that's going to change. I had always wanted a pond, and when I stumbled into this forum, I REAALLY wanted one. I kicked it around for a year, and just decided "Go for it." Everyone on this forum has been super, super, super with all their help.

1st: Water Hyancinth
2nd: Dwarf Papyrus
3rd: Parrots feather with goldies
4th: Unknown taro. I have two others. They are "Black Magic" and "Imperial" I will post pics of those for you tomorrow. They are looking a little rough around the edges, like me, as the temps have been above 100+.
