That is great. How long and deep? Is it just for plants (and frogs) or is it deep enough for fish in some part?

It runs from a shallow stream to 3 feet. We have had fish in it for about three years now. The strange thing is we are now getting water plants growing in the pond that seeds must have come in on birds. I have a Jebao pressure filter and a 1250 gph pump that i purchased from the net to keep it clean. Look around for deals. I gave no more than $40.00 each for the filter and pump.

How did you use the rubber roofing? was it cheaper? Did you have to piece it together?

Cost wise I'm not sure if it is cheaper. I received the roll roofing from a co-worker. The rolls are pretty wide and I was able to get two ponds from it. The pond pictures and another one that is a nature pond. It is a large bird bath. We set and watch the robins and other birds take their baths and eat the tadpoles. What I like about it is if it gets a hole I can patch it like a tire tube.

After a visit to a local fishing pond. We added some plant life to the pond today. On the left in the photo we added some reed cattail and om the right some horsetail. One floating plant I have not looked up yet and some anacharis.
