| This winter has been crazy. I have noticed some affects that are disturbing. Have you had any problems other than the unseasonable algae growth?
It may not be weather related, but I can see one of my fishies has Pine Cone Disease. |

| Hi We've had weird weather also .Actually the last 3 years . This year the coldest temp was in early nov while dec was the warmest ever. jan is followinfg the trend I lost all my tropical fish in 09 due to the coldest winter on record lol Thing I've noticed this year . None of the plants have went dormant and are already WAY overgrown. I added some goldfish after the wipeout so naturally it would be VERY warm. Water has consistantly been in the 80's.. They made it through summer but was hoping for at least a bit of cool down!!. So far they still look good and are eating well. Not much I can do about it anyway. Not much trouble with algae as the waterlilies have covered every square inch at least twice. gary |

| I live in Canada and we have also been experiencing the weirdist weather that I have ever seen. We had one day where we had about 10 inches of snow on the lawn but that's about it and it all melted about a week later. Today I went out to get the newsletters printed and I wore a sweater. I have yet been out to check our ponds due to knee problems and I didn't want to slip in the mud around the ponds. Hubby went to check to see if the electrical was working but didn't open the ponds to check the fish out. I'm hoping to get out there tomorrow. Your's Koily, Lorraine |
