| A friend gave me a fan-tailed koi a few years ago for my auquarium. The Koi ate all of my snails, algae eaters and both fan-tail gold fish and has grown large for the tank. He (or she - I have not a clue)is clearly healthy and hopefully happy even if a bit cramped. I'd like to give the fish a better home. I'd hate to think it was eaten by big birds or racoons, so I'd prefer to give him/her to an aquarium or indoor pond like in a conservatory, but I want this fish to have a better life. I live in Madison WI and I have no idea where I Can donate him/her. The local Bruce Co. is unwilling to take an unknown fish for their pond for fear of picking up a disease. This fish is health and has been for years. Please let me know if you can help me. |

| Look for a koi club in your area. Here's a website with contact info. http://www.koiclubsusa.com/KoiClubDetails.php?id=95 I hope you find him/her a home. BTW, this fish must be getting pretty good size if it's eating all of its' tank buddies. ;) |
