When to bring plants back up...

I live in North Texas. I was cleaning off some of the winter debris that was floating in my pond. I can see some of the submerged plants (taro and lilies) are beginning to send up leaves. When is it time to bring them back up? Do you wait until the chance of frost is over?

Daytime temps are now in the 60's but there will still likely be some frosts.

Dang, if it was not for tulips and daffodils I would move back south.

Water temperature is pretty critical. It becomes the ambient temperature. If the temperature at the surface remains at 50 to 55 or above, your plants would survive so long as the water came over the tops of the containers.
