Info needed on liner pond

I had my bnl take out the water with a sump pump and he left about 8-10 inches of water in for the fish until I could get them out to clean out the pond for its annual cleaning. The next day I looked into the pond and the liner had come loose from the bottom. It looked like water had gotten underneath the liner. I believe the sump pump must have made a hole in the liner. I can't be sure but I wasn't having any water loss before the water was sucked out. My question is if I can find a hole/cut in the liner can it be repaired and hold up? The pond is kidney shaped or about 9x14 ft. and 4 ft deep and I can't afford a new liner even though this liner is 10 years old. What are your suggestions? Thank you for your thoughts on this.

Peggy
