That sounds good to me. I would make sure the newspaper is really wet and you might close it in a ziploc bag, and then in another ziploc bag. Good luck.

You don't have to send overnight, you can use cheaper Priority mail. Three to five days is no problem.

Be careful to wrap the growing tips carefully. If they break it won't grow.

If the newspaper is too wet it increases weight and can encourage mold. Damp is fine.
