Long story short, while working in my pond, putting in some marginal planting areas, I got some clay soil in the pond water. Now the water is cloudy with clay. It has been three days now and I am wondering will this eventually settle? Do I need to use a flocculant (msp?) or will it eventually filter out of the pond? Worse yet, will I need to do a water exchange? Thanks for any help you can give me. Kristi

How much did you spill. If a small amount I wouldn't worry about it much. Doing your regular water changes should clear up the water. I've added kitty litter to my skippy type filter on purpose trying to clear the water.

I'd wait to see how the plants help you out when you they get up and growing.
