Timer for small foutnain pump? (No fish)

Hi all,
I'm setting up a very small "disappearing" type fountain with a granite birdbath overflowing onto pebbles. I'd really like to put the pump on a timer so it's only on during the day. The pump is plugged into an outdoor GFCI receptacle with a small plastic cover.
Is there any type of timer I can add to this to make this work?
Thank you!
Stacey

There are many timers on the market that are simple outdoor on-off but if possible you should run the pump all the time. The water will become stagnant and start to smell bad.
