germinated lotus, now what do I do?

so the lotus seeds have/are germinating. I would like to know hat I do now! I have then in a 3.5inch tall pot I'm assuming that's too small.

also there is no roots. why? and will it ever grow roots?

I know temps need to be kept an avg of 25-30�c I can do the 20C (have got a power blackout at moment no heating temps fallen to 13�c may sit it on how water bottle maybe?)

if I am to plant them. how should I and what should I use?

I've got one about the same size. I've been following directions on these two pages --check about 2/3 of the way down the page to see the next step

and I'm jealous; I had three good looking seeds, but only one sprouted.

thank you for the the reply and links.

I actually had no files so I used cheese grater (the nutmeg side) that took along time! I also have it sat on edge of a light so I can provide the heat.

I also found agood site but that uses clay. the soil where I live is medium to heavy clay.
