| Found this snail in my pond today but don't know if he's desireable or not----what is it? And he's not quite dime size.

| Looks like a ramshorn snail to me, though the ones I've seen were quite small. I liked 'em in my home aquariums, because they didn't seem to be the pest that ordinary pond snails were. Randy |

| Looks like a Ram's horn snail. I have lots of them. They eat rotting materials, especially leaves of your water lilies. As far as I know they do NOT cause damage to your plants. They clean up by eating algae and other rotting plants. |
