| Hi, I'm no expert or anything but my husband picked this Koi out for me (my first) he/she is not in that great of shape (kind of a rescue) his fins are torn from other fish picking on him etc. but I'm thinking he/she is a Butterfly Koi. am I right? |

| There are like 3-4 types of long fin koi, the butterfly is the most popular. If the fins don't round off over time, then it is definitely a butterfly. |
