 o
what is this critter in the pond water ...?

In emptying the pond to clean it & netting the goldfish to place in a holding container, I also netted some strange cricket-looking bugs that were in the water. Any ideas as to what these were & if I should get rid of them or are they helpful? They seemed to be in/under the water & were pale cricket looking creatures!

Thanks for any ideas!

Probably dragonfly/damselfly nymphs.

The Pond Life site has pictures and other infomation about pond critters. Maybe what you have will be shown here. There was another site that someone mentioned previously but I couldn't find it.

Here is a link that might be useful: Pond Life
