Can this concrete fountain be saved?

My house has a 4 tier fountain / birdbath that the previous owners gave up on and filled with dirt. I'd love to put it in my pond, but not sure it can be saved.

I thought about filling the cracks, spraying it with that waterproofing spray they advertise on TV, then flipping the basin over and spreading reinforced quickcrete all over the bottom to hold the basin together, and finally painting the whole thing. I would also have to resculpt part of the top lillypad out of cement or maybe polymer clay. Would this work? Is that more work than it's worth?

you might want to shop it out and see what a replacement would cost.

My mom had a cement fountain that leaked--she was always asking my husband and brothers to fix it. Never did find a cure; one of my brothers finally begged her to give it to him, and got rid of it when she wasn't looking.

If it's going inside the pond, would a leak really matter? It's really pretty and if I had a pond that would support it, I'd clean it up and that baby would be in the pond :-)

I agree with pk... That would fit perfectly in my pond. I would build a base from 4 cinderblocks and a flat stone and that would sit right in the center of my pond preferably with the water flowing back into the main pond.
