Waterfall Foam

I need to use some waterfall foam around my falls and stream, never used it before. I want to use it before I have to start the pump because it says water can't go over it for 24 hours.
The can says to use it in temps 68-80 degrees. Is that day time temp? Because it dips every night into upper 30's to 40's. It will be 70 by the end of the week and would like to apply it before the rain this weekend.

RE: Waterfall Foam

Hey, Laurie. If you use it early in the day rather than in the evening you should be OK. Cool temperatures reduce the cure which includes expansion. If it doesn't expand, the bubbles don't form and the resin can turn into a goo that looks and acts like syrup. Once a skin has formed the water won't hurt it but it may force the foam into odd shapes. Wait as long as possible for the temp to get warmer since it can turn into a messy job.
