Hi just purchased these water lily seeds and have put them in water. I found a container in my barn that is a rectangle shape but all the corners are rounded not sharp edges its about 2ft long 1 1/2ft wide and 6 inches deep and no holes. would this be an ideal lily container at the bottom of my pond?(18")deep.

Just imagine how heavy that container will be when full of dirt and plants...will you be able to lift it to repot.

I use plastic dishpans from the dollar store. Most of them hold 3 or 4 gallons and I don't want to have to lift anything heavier.
