Has anyone else built a trickle filter for their pond? If yes, could you share how you built it and how well it has worked.

RE: Trickle filter

I have been looking at trickle towers made with strawberry pots and wondered if I could put impatiens in the little holes. Has anyone had any experience with this?

RE: Trickle filter

Strawberry pots work good and impatiens do well in them.
My veggie filter is kind of like a trickle filter except that it is terraced instead of vertical. I am growing water hyacinths and strawberries in it.

Try doing a forum search for trickle filters. There is a space at the top of the forum page. I recall there were a number of posts on them in the past.

I seem to remember some videos on YouTube that were interesting too.
