| I've had a pond for 6 years, and I've always kept those .10 feeder goldfish, currenly I have 6 of them in the pond. They overwinter fine and are happy and healthy.
We recently extended the pond into a much larger area, and now I have room to add a few new fishies. Can anyone tell me what type of fish would get along fine with my feeder goldfish. The feeders are 2-3 years old and are about 3" long. My pond is 3 feet deep, and it's about 10 feet long by 5 feet wide. |

| i dont think your pond is big enough for koi.you could get shubunkins or fancy tail gold fish. dont add too many, your fish will so have babys and you dont want to over crowd them.make sure you have good filtration, that is the most important part of a pond. |

| I'm suprised you are not overrun with lots of goldfish fry in those six years. I have Golden Orfe that are so much fun as a pond fish plus they tend to limit the goldfish fry survival rate. With your current expanded pond you could add several with out a problem. They love to jump and eat insects are much more active than goldfish so they required a fair sized pond. They are a schooling fish so add a minimum of three if you decide too. I see you are in Ohio I purchased mine at Green Vista Watergardens. Good luck |
