I was reading a book on Balinese gardening the other day and I saw a picture of heliconas growing as marginals and aquatics in a pond around a house. Can anyone confirm if they can be grown in shallow water? I know that Butterfly gingers can be grown as a semi-aquatic, but Heliconias??
