hardy lillies from seed

I just ordered some hardy lily seeds from singaore, has anyone had any luck starting them from seeds?? and how many seasons before I could expect blooms? if I am lucky.

any pointers would be appreciated

Hi Bill:

I don't have any pointers for you, but I have an excess of hardy water lilies if you want to pay for shipping I am willing to ship them. I can't guarantee what color, but have red, white and blue. I divided mine last week and have lots to get rid of. Send me an e-mail if you are interested.

I don't know about hardy water lilies but I grew some dwarf tropical water lilies from seed and it took around a year and a half to get blooms. If you want those seeds, they are N. minuta on eBay.
