Grrrr--snowing again!

I read the posts about lily blooms and go grrrr! It is 32F today here and snowing!!!! The few water hyacinths I bought are in a tub of water in the garage have been for over a week now as cold here. The good news is on June 1 supposed to go up to 63F and continue going up from then. My fish are still indoors as their tank is 70F. I usually move the fish out and their water (to jump start the pond) but the pond water temp is too cold for that move--too much of a shock. At this rate they probably won't go out till next weekend!

Oh jalal, what a bummer!
I wish I could give you some of our heat and humidity. Its in the upper 80's here and its too hot and humid for me.
I'll try to blow some your way!

I love hot weather send it my way by all means! There is about an inch of heavy wet snow on the ground! I have the one pump running but not the other one--hope any water in the line doesn't freeze! I've been out in the garage (which is not heated but have the space heater on) transplanting a water lily. Using a mix of clay kitty litter and play sand so hope that works. I've put the pots in a laundry tub with water from the pond. Maybe I should put grow lights on too as it's pretty dark in my garage!

Get out! that's insane. I can't imagine how cold it would
be, if it wasn't for global warming...LOL...
Seriously though, Hope it warms up soon for you.

Hang in there Jalal,

Heavy thunderstorms here, though it did make it up to 70F earlier(now 60 and rain comes and goes and quite odd looking clouds.)

My fish aren't out yet either, though it's more because I had an issue with hooking up my waterfall. Now it's too wet and rainy to work outside. Besides, the pond water is 60F and the fish and indoors are at 68F, it's workable I guess but the kneeling on soggy grass to work on the pond isn't that attractive).

I was at the garden centre this morning during one heavy thunderstorm and bought some more pond plants as well as other flowers.

Last night I noticed mosquitoes are starting to come out.

Glen
