Water temp difference

I have my gold fish in the basement, the water temp is 66 degree,s, I want to transfer them back out to the pond outside, the pond is 61 degree,s, is this to much water temp. change for them ??? If so what should the difference be between the 2 waters ??

Do as you would with new fish. Put them in a container (bucket or whatever) of tank water and float it in the pond until the temperatures match. They'll be fine.
