| Hello
I am interested in the 150 gallon rubbermaid stock tank . I like the dimensions of Height=25 in Length=58 in Width=39 in http://www.waresdirect.com/products/Commercial-Products/Rubbermaid/150 -Gal266052?trackURL=nextag However I know the bottom of the tank is not as wide and wanted to ask if anyone here has used it ,would you happen to know the actual bottom dimensions?. Its for a pair of Jack Dempseys which are kept in patio 9 months a yr so 150 gallon is fine but if good size difference between bottom of tank and top might just go with another brand name which offers more sizes. They do not carry it in area but they will order it . Thanks. |

| I don't know if our local Tractor Supply store has it in stock, but if they do, I could measure it sometime this week if I go to town. Also, I have 100 gallon stocktanks that are empty and I could measure the bottoms of them, and maybe you could make some guesses about the decrease in size of the bottom of the 150 gallon? |

| Thank you very much for the help. I was about to post that I opted to just order this 300 gall stock tank as had the dimensions I wanted. http://www.plastic-mart.com/class.php?item=104 Place I went to today will order it for me and deliver as I have a car and though a convertible holding on to this while driving will look like something from an inspector clouseau movie . I have an adult pair of jag cichlids but this will give them just that much more room and can put a few pots with cattails and papyrus . Are all your stock tanks rubbermaid , are they for actual animals or ponds ? I ask as seems those are the most popular types in this forum . I have a neighbor with zebu but they use those steel type stock tanks. http://img256.imageshack.us/i/zebu.jpg/ |

| LOL about the image of you with it in your convertible! Don't fly away! All my stocktanks are Rubbermaid. I have 4 300 gallon ones, but just for plants, no fish. I think the one you are getting is more round than the Rubbermaid ones, which will probably give the fish a better swim area. Good luck! |

| Thank you. Rubbermaid certainly is well made . Wish they came in more sizes for fish keepers. |
