I currently have an aquascape 1650gph pump that shorts out. I can no longer find a replacement for that particular pump. Any comments on a pondmaster or crystal ponds? What's the best pump out there?

I have a pondmaster 1350 pump and I totally love it. There is only one part to replace if it totally dies - the impeller. This spring it wasn't working. I took the impeller out to clean the hole into which if fits and it started right up. If I want to get a bigger pump in the future, it will be a pondmaster.

Pondmaster mag drive pumps are the best you will find. I have several that are going on 10 years old, running 24/7.

Thanks for the recommendations. Hopefully I can find a pondmaster that will fit and is compatible with my skimmer box setup.
