questions re tadpoles

frogged

Hello, so this year I have dozens of tadpoles. I have never seen any before in my pond so I have no experience with them. I did read it takes about 12-16 weeks for the life cycle egg to frog. These guys are fat little brown bodies with their tails, so I guess it won't be until Aug before they start leaving? So I am just wondering what I can expect to happen with them until then. There are a lot in there will they all turn into frogs the area is protected from most predators and sheltered from sever weather. One other thing I remember reading that sometimes tadpoles don't always develop right away. Is that true? Its fun to watch these little guys wiggling around, when they turn into frogs its gonna be interesting for a while.
