Just some more pics of my pond edges while they are in their spring splendor. In a few more days it will all be a memory.

Gorgeous colors Jenny. The flowers are so beautiful and your Japanese Maple looks so elegent reaching down to the water. Your pond is always a pleasure to see.

Thanks all for your kind words. I just noticed last night that my creeping thyme is starting to bloom. May snap a few pics to post.

Lisa:

I just trimmed my Japanese Maple last night. Didn't realize it was hiding the liner, but the piranha (oooops! sorry I meant koi) were yanking at the leaves that were hanging in the water. I am sure it will grow back. And to think I got that little maple in the orphan department at Cahoon Rd. Nursery two years ago for $9.99. It was lopsided so they marked it down. I used floral wire to gently bend the softer branches back so that it grew even all around. I love it when I find a bargain and it works out.

P.S. Don't know why my fish are so hungry all the time. Last week they got honeydew and cantelope. This week it's zuchinni and oranges. Plus I toss dandylion leaves into the pond. This is in addition to the Hikari fish food. Hmmmm, maybe it's the vitamins I've been giving them. lol
