Beautiful! Is it an "Attraction"? I have one that blooms every spring before anything else does.

Sooo pretty! love the yellow inside! I have my lilies in totes awaiting the pond getting finished and just noticed a big ol' bud at the surface!! Got my bog garden planted and it looks good(dirt bog, not water bog), I killed the lily I had that looks like yours...this one I have that's ready to bloom is from a friend and I replanted it and gave it some osmocoat like she said, and it's gonna bloom!!! (pics to come...)

Thanks guys! Nancy - This variety is "Indiana (Nymphaeaceae)". It's in the hardy category so hopefully (well, if I don't kill it by some other means. lol) it will survive our unpredictable North Texas winters. Calamity - that all sounds so exciting! My pond is too small to have a bog area also, but I've thought about putting a small (dirt) bog at the corner of the yard where everything drains to, so I'll keep an eye out for your pictures. :)

Very nice. Mine is a long ways away from blooming. I lost my lilies over winter (tried a different overwintering method) and had to replace them. Great to hear that about 'attraction' however, since that is the one I bought. I also bought some pink one from walmart but it's taking it's sweet time to grown.

That's so pretty! Makes me want to buy one, but unfortunately my pond size (5' x 7') is small and I already have two lillys!

Love the darker pink. I have a William B. Shaw lily that is pink like that blooms like crazy once the pond actually gets going if we ever get our two weeks of summer. The other two are Marliac Albida and a Pink Gonnere which also bloom like crazy.
