Check you local dollar store for a deal!

The Dollar Tree in Kent, WA had pkts of 8 Jobes Tomato Fertilizer Spikes for $1. The ones my son bought for me today mostly contain 9 and one had 10 spikes, so it worked out to .11 each spike.

How many & how often should 6-18-6 spikes be inserted for each gallon of hardy water lilies?

A friend gave me a pot of her water lilies last year & I'm new to water gardening.

The package states 2 spikes per tomato plant.

I would start with 2 per plant, and add more if the plant seems to need it.

I use 3 spikes per gallon lily container per month in the growing season.

Hubs just snagged a 50 count pkg at DG for $2. I count 54 in the pkg.

Jobe's fruit tree or everygreen fertilizer spikes even cheaper. Have to break them into chunks though.
