Does anyone know where I can get black high density foam that floats to make a floating island for my pond? It wouldn't really matter the thickness. I think I can make it cheaper than what they sell for. Thanks!

Photobucket

I built this last year and this is a shot of when I first launched it with drop in flower pots. I now have it anchored to the bottom in the middle of the pond.

I to have made my own floater. I went to a florist for a large ring for wreath. I also got some small ones at the dollar store for smaller pots. Great way to float plants and much cheaper. Hope this helps, G

Scrap liner, great stuff, used quart plastic plant containers, one tie wrap, sheet moss, a little glue and rocks and wood from the yard. Cost less than $10.00 if you consider my labor free!
