Leaves anyone?

My neighbour recently passed and now his property sits empty with the leaves from his lovely oak tree blowing in the wind............right into my pond...........

Ugh,,,, it took me 2 hours to fish them all out.....

That's a pain...if there are more leaves you may want to get a net to cover the pond!

LOL, that's a daily routine for me in the fall, I live in the woods! My pond is much smaller though so it's not all that hard.

I found some very good netting material at a military surplus store. It was with the mosquito netting but had made from a larger thread and had larger holes it it than the mosquito netting. No one there knew what it was called.

Holy smokes!!!! If you don't put up netting I guess you can get some exercise by skimming those leaves off with a net. :)

In the situation it may be an nice act to rake the neighbor's yard. It would make you feel good and take care of your leaf problem.

Under the conditions no one in the neighbors family are even thinking about the leaves
