Free koi fry

Does anyone in the Cleveland area want free koi fry? If not you do you know anyone with a pond who would like some? They are anywhere from 1-2" long right now and I have a mixture of colors. Mom is white ogon butterfly. I managed to capture approximately 100 or more from the pond using a live minnow trap baited with shrimp. I have them in an extra 100 gal stock tank. If you are interested please send me an e-mail via this forum so we can make arrangements. I prefer giving them to my pond forum friends instead of pet shops and pond supply nurseries.

Put them on Craig's list. Also, check to see if the Cleveland area has a koi society or a water garden society. Especially the latter -- they often have new members signing up around this time of year, and many are new pond owners seeking fish and supplies.

I am in Warren Ohio, Trumbull County. I would LOVE to have some baby koi. How far from me are you? I would be happy to trade some perennials for them, I have 12 perennial beds.

You don't want to know what my first thought was when I read the title of your post. LOL

Hmmmm Sandy, you may have just given me an idea. I have enough fry to have a fry fry. Let's see it would take about 100 fry to make one large koi. Now all I have to do if figure out a way to glue them together. lol
