| Six years later, here it is. It is almost work free thanks to the solid information I received from Garden Web good guys. I never, ever put chemicals in it. I have a 70 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank filter and keep my fish population to 5 goldfish. Lots of lilly pads for shading from the Southern sun. Love, love ponding. We make such a positive environmental impact.
Thanks for looking at my "Great Obsession". |

| Looks much like my own pond and about the same size and age I do not take water out just add more if needed Do not clean out the "junk" on bottom figure the plants grow in it. and I do have some nice plants growing Including water lilies several different ones that overwinter in Canada Makes me feel as if I should be doing more when you read all about the work involved in ponds Yet my fish are fine the plants are gorgeous. |

| Very nice! How is your stock tank filter constructed? That's about the size I am needing. |

| Very inspirational ncponder!!! I'm in eastern carolina and we just put in a pond and I just joined Gardenweb. I teach elementary school and we installed a pond a couple of years ago. Our school partnered with the NC Museum of Natural Sciences UTOTES program - Using the Outdoors to Teach Experential Science. Anyway, my husband and I caught the ponding bug. We are going fish-less and electric-less. We still have lots of work to do - no stones yet, just a few plants. Your pix is exciting and a great motivation - very beautiful!!! islndgrlart |
