It depends on the type of frog/toad the tadpoles belong to. If they're frogs, they're going to stay close to the pond, or take off to find a new pond. Toads will head off into damp undergrowth.

I have frogs and toads and sometimes I have plenty of tadpoles. Sometimes that creates quite a few toads but still not an overwhelming plague. I guess many tadpoles get eaten or something. I'm not sure why or how they managed to avoid mower problems, but I guess they ran from the noise. Our dog used to chase them around, so they got the idea to stay out of the way.

Every year I have hundreds (or more) of tadpoles in each of my 300 gallon above-ground stocktanks. But sometimes, at the end of summer/Fall, when I empty it out, there aren't any at all!
So I wouldn't worry about what you're going to do with them for awhile. The problem may solve itself.
